All goalies have ups and downs in seasons. I would agree that Helle is in a bit of valley but that isn't surprising. What would have been surprising would have been if he could maintain his great play all year. Go take any other league starter and you will find numerous peaks and valleys in their save percentages over the year. I do agree that we could play our backups more often to give him some more rest.

Helle has plenty of experience. I'm still amazed that after all the goaltender knowledge that's been shared on this forum, that people are still using one game samples to try and make a point.
