You shouldn't have posted it so quickly, its not like you get imaginary internet points for being first, this isn't Reddit.

Apparently Trevor Van Riemsdyk is 'confirmed' as Chicago pick, although I haven't seen any information regarding this.

That would mean another defenseman... yeah, we will see a lot of trades.

Hextalls had 3 drafts, right?

First one he picked Sanheim but late in the first and snagged an up and comer.
Second one he picked the slam dunk, no doubt about it pick in Provorov
Third he slid back, snagged an extra 2nd and grabbed a faller, but still highly touted player

So based on this history, if he's staying at 2, he's going to take the no doubt about it.

If he's trading it, I'm with other posters that he doesn't have faith in Patrick/Hischier (whoever falls).

Also, I thought about this, Hextall wouldn't make this trade until draft night. If he has Hischier over Patrick and Hischier falls to 2, he'll probably just keep it, also vice versa.

Going off Colorados's list, Vegas almost assuredly picked Pickard. There's not much else there.

Yeah Pickard from COL and would think Carrier or Ullmark from BUF.

Jay Beagle's name was being speculated on the main board as the pick from WSH. So it could go Grubauer, Schmidt, or Beagle.

If I had to guess as picks of value made:

BUF - G Linus Ullmark
COL - F Mikhail Grigorenko
WSH - D Nate Schmidt
WPG - F Marko Dano

The rest just throw away picks to meet the requirements.

So it's basically down to Pickard & Ullmark likely as that last goalie. The latter has waiver exemption status which might be of value.
