Inb4 the bashers say he would never score this in the NHL.

Great goal. The defense man gets pressure goes to dump the puck, Kuznetsov reads play gets puck and the defense man got caught on the other side, and instead of letting the defense man catch him snipes blocker high with a tricky looking snap shot from 40 feet out , probably the fastest I've seen someone get off a snapshot.

This goal is actually unlike Kuznetsov. He's less known for any kind of wristers or snapshots and a lot of the time he'll chose close in on the goalie and deke.

It's good to see, now goalies can fear his shot as much as his dekes.

Semin wasn't that for the last few years, especially at the playoffs. Injury issues too, I think he was ppg 10-11 before he injured himself.

But sort of agree, I don't think there's any player that could be said to be major upgrade over what Semin brings. Or at least could bring.
