I love Phil and everyone knows Phil's "ways". Time may have come where all of Phil's shortcomings may have caught up to him. His stat line hasn't been great the last two seasons. He was scratched in the playoffs. He's not some defensive/PK stalwart. I'm not sure exactly what the "we are looking for X, Y, and Z out of a player" question is that leads to Phil Kessel at the moment.

A team should pick him up, let him get his 8pts, then mutually terminate.
