Agreed on the first part. The Gaudreau signing has me worried. I know I'm the only one, but it still does.

I don't see Couturier ever touching 80 points either. I think he is more of a 50-60 point guy. I also don't see Bartschi as an 80 point guy though. More of a 60-70 player. I think Couturier will have more of a well rounded game though and I have less injury concern with him. I think I'd move Bartschi straight up for Couturier.

I think Bart can be a PPG type player but either way he should* be a 30 goal scorer, something I don't ever see Couts doing either.

I know right? I don't take Eklund very seriously normally, but the exception is Flyers stuff. He's like McKenzie when it comes to the Flyers. He must have nude selfies of Holmgren or something.

Yeah, Eklund has been gaining credibility over the last few years. He has broken trades and signings before anyone else.

I think Bart can be a PPG type player but either way he should* be a 30 goal scorer, something I don't ever see Couts doing either.

The potential is definitely there for him to be a 30 goal guy I think. It all depends how he's used and developed. If we continue this Jackman and Begin with him BS though, I don't see him developing offensively to ever be a PPG guy or even a 30 goal guy. He needs top 6 minutes. I think the Tanguay trade was at least partially about that. Conroy intimated as much on 960.

Not really even that he has broken a lot of trades but he usually seems to have the inside track with the Flyers.

Most of his scoops have the Flyers involved in some capacity. He gets a lot/most stuff wrong though.

At least he's up front about what he is though. He reports everything he hears. I'm sure some NHL guys use that for subterfuge and misdirection. Not really his fault.

I don't want Sven included because he is the Flames only top line winger who is young and proven in the NHL. He may never be a PPG but he should be good for 30 goals and at least 30 assists every year.
