Ehlers vs Marner & Nylander

After 42 games Ehlers has 17 goals and is tied with Matthews with 32 points. Marner has just 5 goals in 42 games, and Nylander only has 8 goals in 42 for a combined total of 13 goals in 84 games from the young Toronto duo. ( Marner and Nylander have 30 and 29 puts respectively).

So who ends the season with more goals, Ehlers or Marnlander? (And maybe comment on why you think Marner and Nylander have been struggling in goal production)

Imo Marner and Nylander are over rated, Ehlers is better than both but the premise of this thread is pretty dumb.

Pretty easily Marner Nyander. They'll combine for at least 40 by the end of the year, and there is little chance Ehlers gets more than 30ish.

I think you have your narratives mixed. Neither Nylander nor Marner are big goal scorers so you usually judge them off of points not goals.

Secondly, no one said Leafs were miles ahead of the Jets, we said Leafs were ahead of their own schedule. Jets were perennial underachievers. They always went into the season with a great lineup and found ways to be trash. Be happy Helly is coming up big for you guys this year, otherwise you'd be right back where you were every single year.

They are all good young skilled talent that progress at their own individual pace.

Why some feel it necessary to bash other organizations young skilled talent I'll never understand.

I rather celebrate the fact the future looks bright for the NHL with this much great talent coming into the league.

I've never seen a single Jets poster on any medium take Laine over Matthews... at best maybe in career goals which is still way too early to determine.

Trouba is still a little better than Reilly... Morrissey has surpassed both of them by a lot.
