I have to assume that NHL Central Registry knows and has or will inform them shortly. They need to know soon, because if another team placed a claim and Thomson can't be assigned directly to Belleville then they need to demote Greig before 5PM to stay compliant.

Good news for Belleville, not that we still have a lot of worthy prospects down there but Jarventie, Ostapchuk, Kleven, Guenette, JBD, Sogaard and Merilainen could benefit from playing on a non bottom-feeder

going through Waivers for Lassi and JBD should be a good wake up call on them to forget their draft status and just focus on their development, both of them are young enough to still find that gear that can make them NHL defensemen.

Hamonic is definitely a #6 this year lets see if one of these guys can change him to a #7 next year.

JBD needs a trainer for strength and Thomson needs a therapist for self confidence.
