This is incorrect. There is no special priority for teams trying to re-acquire their lost player.Sens can claim him before anyone else can to go directly to Belleville
That makes a lot more sense than Sens just simply being able to take him back and send him down, thanks for clarifying. Waivers are for the players, if any team wants to put him in the NHL lineup that needs to be the opportunity before Sens can put him in the AHLThis is incorrect. There is no special priority for teams trying to re-acquire their lost player.
Ottawa has to put in a claim in the regular waiver order.
Then…
- if a team with a higher priority also claims him, they get him
- if a team with a lower priority also claims him, he goes to Ottawa but can’t be sent down without going on waivers again
- if no other team claims him, they are able to send him straight to Belleville.
Sens have to claim him.So if nobody claims him, he goes to Belleville or what?
I think he can go straight to Belleville if we reclaim himI would say claim him back and then waive him again to play in Belleville you already spent so much on developing this asset gotta see it through
if no one else puts in a claim which is the likely outcome yes.I think he can go straight to Belleville if we reclaim him
If reclaimed, he would fly directly to Belleville, would not “pas Go” or collect $200, and begin playing for the $70K on his TWC, and see if, or how he develops, before becoming a RFA, or becoming a sweetener in a TD deal.Do the Senators claim him back?
We could use him in Belleville.
Just have to laugh at people like this.awesome move by Staois if we reclaim him and add him to the AHL depth
Common Dorion W. The asset management king strikes again!
No chance for thomson imo, although i still like his puck movement. Ok chance for jbd, but by then the hope will be Kleven is ready.going through Waivers for Lassi and JBD should be a good wake up call on them to forget their draft status and just focus on their development, both of them are young enough to still find that gear that can make them NHL defensemen.
Hamonic is definitely a #6 this year lets see if one of these guys can change him to a #7 next year.
Possibly, but they don't know yet.Going to go out on a limb and say no other team put in a claim.
