Watch the 7th or 8th team win the lottery and us left wondering what could have been - again.Put my money on #9 now
What do you want people to do in a draft lottery thread?this might a well be locked and deleted. I'm not going to be updating any further as it's deteriorated into people cheering for losses and otherwise it's no different than teh draft thread
You can discuss things without cheering for and wishing for losses. What do you want people to do in a draft lottery thread?
Talk about winning games and not making the playoffs, I guessWhat do you want people to do in a draft lottery thread?
I know those words but that post makes no sense.Getting a sense that tank commander Jeff Bezos is leading us through the 1944 Ardennes rather than the 1940 one. A shame.
Time to focus on our other 1st round pick then. A regulation win tonight could help pull that out of division winner position and put 3/4 non-division winning teams above it.this might a well be locked and deleted. If he becomes what Colton Parayko was from like 2017-2020 but has a longer prime I think that would be a worthwhile pick at 9. However, I very much doubt that NHL GMs will let a 6'7 mobile DD fall out of the top 6 or so.Basically need Seattle to win out for a chance to keep 8th overall. Even with a loss tonight, can't see us losing to San Jose again, they're properly awful.
If this season leads to us drafting Silayev (defensive d-man) with our first, I think the season would be a huge failure. I just don't see the value in picking defensive d-man up that high, there upside is so limited.
Awesome if someone else takes Silayev before us than another good player falls into our range...If he becomes what Colton Parayko was from like 2017-2020 but has a longer prime I think that would be a worthwhile pick at 9. I think most of the 3-10 guys are roughly even and it's just a matter of preference. As long as we don't reach I can't really complain.Awesome if someone else takes Silayev before us than another good player falls into our range...
