Look at what the other star players are making and keep in mind he can get 10 million tax free at home, see no reason why Datsyuk isn't in for a raise unless he specifically requests somebody and takes the paycut out of pocket for the guy. If Getzlaf is getting 8.25 how much under that is Datsyuk coming. I think he makes 8 million a year on a three year deal, if it goes to four maybe he takes a shade under that completely agree with 3 X 24 or 4 X 30.

But he's a bit older than Getzlaf - so do we front-load it then based on the assumption that his production will decline over the course of the contract? He'd be 39 or 40 by the time one of those two deals expire. Or is there no benefit to doing so?
