not sure why this kid is not part of u17 ? (citizenship of Canada ?)

but either way, they have to do anything they can to get this kid on team Canada jr next year
if he is, I predict top 3 scorer
he dominates everywhere he has been

This guy is going to be one heck of a player! Heart and soul of our offence! 30 goals as a 16 year old is huge! I predict he will do better next year for his draft year! A potential top 10 in a very stacked draft!

Does any one know if he will or get an invite to the Ivan Hlinka camp.

Hard to believe he's having trouble getting citizenship. I always thought we had a dish of passports that are handed out at the boarder like candy ;)

He wants to become a Canadian and play for Team Canada. I thought 5 years residency was enough? Maybe he hasn't had 5 straight years yet, with playing part of one year in the US or something?

Great player, good attitude too. Works hard all year, has his fun, balanced life.

When I watched him yesterday I thought he was floating quite a bit defensively, but when the puck is on his stick, he was extremely dynamic. Great speed, hands and shot. I'll watch again today. Kessel was my first thought after watching the game.

Hes gotten better at using his size, uses his team mates a bit more. But if there is still a chance he can do it alone he's going to do it.

He's started back checking a bit more, which is good. And has even seen some PK time.

All in all he is improving. A year or 2 in the AHL would do him wonders in the next few years. Hopefully Pittsburgh doesn't rush him

Thanks! If he hits his potential, who do you think is a fair comparable for him?

Top 6 Forward, PP Specialist, game has improved above and beyond from last year as far as play in both ends of the ice, not a defensive stopper but the effort has improved. Was effective in spurts in the AHL playoffs last year. Think Jayden Schwartz type of player.
