How do you know that? If it improves their return why wouldn't ownership consider it?

Just speculating. $5.25M in dead cap space and losing one of your best players it would need to be one hell of a return. Not sure teams would offer enough for the Hawks to say yes to that.

If re-building, I would retain 50% from all of them and trade them with any price but would fight for 1st round pick+ A prospect, would tolerate bad contract if it would be max of even money and even years of outgoing contract, because we can't take more money.
