I would say one of the core defining factors of a "bad person" is that they show intent to physically injure another person without good reason. He has shown that intent on several occasions. Also f*** Kadri he's an unlikable fake douche bag.

His current points per game equates to 59 over an 82 game season. Perfectly inline with the player he's been historically.
Why is everyone so down on him? He’s playing fine. This is what he is.
dude is a -13, the worst on the team... and isn't close to the great "2-way" play he's supposed to bring... not to mention he's hardly the gritty agitator anymore

Kadri has never been some 2 way beast. He’s a physical 50-60 point guy. That’s what he is.

Oh he had plenty of reasons to want to harm DeBrusk. Lindgren found out with his face.
He’ll always stick up for his teammates.

doesn't change the fact the Flames vastly overpaid for a 32 year old coming off an outlier year
100% they overpaid. I’m just saying this is what he is. Expecting him to do what he did last year was never realistic. Hes not playing bad he’s playing like Kadri.

In for a penny, in for a pound. With the long term contracts given to Huberdeau and Weegar, they're already committing to pay now and suffer later; what's another 7M?

I always liked this guy, though his temper can flare at the wrong moments.

This is pretty well on par with his historical performance. He just accepted when someone offered him No. 1 center money, justifying his decision to hit free agency and cash in with perfect timing. Any of us would do so.

It's not his fault he's an excellent #2. It wouldn't be so bad if Lindholm's production didn't crater once his spectacular linemates from last season left themselves. Lindholm and Huberdeau performing as expected this season would have allowed Kadri to do what he does best on the second line.

Lindholm is also playing completely normal. Last year was an anomaly.

Kadri has not been an excellent #2 this season. He's quite clearly the third best center on this team currently and has been since the first month of the season ended.

He's a player that thrives off his emotions and it's been a tough year for Calgary and he has let that trickle into his game. He's a unique player and as we saw last season he can really excel in certain situations and moments. Sutter has also really struggled to find or even try to find the right situations/fits for his new players.

We have seen no where near his best so far this season. Hopefully he can find that extra gear now that Calgary has worked there way back into some meaningful games down the stretch.

What worked for him last year was being on the team that draws the most PPs in the league, he’s great in the bumper slot on the PP especially when there’s 3 or 4 bigger threats than him on the ice.

A grand total of $17.5 million against the cap for a combined 14 games and five points.

Woof

We are not even through October yet but it looks bad. When they lock up Lindholm and Hanifin, they are stuck in mediocrity for the next 4-5 years.

They need to rebuild but ownership won’t allow it, hopefully they change their mind now that they got their new arena at the expense of the taxpayers.
