Not exactly, but it was a fake shot followed by a double-deke (as opposed to Hendricks' typical triple-deke). Not as fluid as Hendricks', but I have to think there was some inspiration drawn from it.

Edmonton is supposedly shopping him.

But he's lost a step even since arriving in Edmonton, and is now basically a 13th/14th forward with a $1.85M cap hit. Like the guy, but he's on his way out of the NHL at this point.
