All I can say, is thank gawd Demko wasn't in the net for this one.....His chances at the Vezina would have blown up in one game.

Aint nothing left to do but laugh.

That was a comical game, here's hoping we can learn some lessons from of our lack of composure, since we cannot do a damn thing about the refs ourselves.

this one you throw out - 100%

talk about the winnipeg game if you need to, but throw this one out. too much happened in about 10 minutes that cannot be dissected.

don't chase plays - play how you know you should

We need to either play this year out for experiance or make a couple upgrades. I know the last two games have been a challenge with the reffing, and I know in the big picture this is just a blip.

But does anyone thing this league is going to allow us to win a cup? We have to be head and shoulders better than everyone else.

The Canucks played great for two periods and weathered terrible calls, the most egregious of which was the Lindholm "roughing" call, and the extremely marginal Pettersson hook. PK did its best but there's only so much you can do against four 5 on 3s.

Last 2 games have showed the team is very mentally fragile when faced with adversity. Don't see them going deep in the playoffs this year

Tomlinson should be replaced next year. That was an emotional game for Canucks fans and he was completely bland. Not a single criticism of the refs in one of the worst officiated games in Canucks history
Why did Garrett get banned from Canucks games anyway?

DeSmith probably just costed himself a big contract from someone for next year
He retired.

Just saw the score.

WTF happened?

We got called for four 5 on 3s, one in the first period and three in a row at the end of the second leading into the third. Only the over the glass call on Miller was legit. From there, we collapsed. Although, I'd say some of it was exhaustion on our D.

DeSmith was complete horseshit and Tocchet didn't call a timeout when things were getting out of hand.

Refs were calling one phantom shit after another. Bit of a coincidence it's the game right after Myers called them out.

Edit: Forgot to add. Garland got hurt and missed all of the aforementioned PKs in the second and third.

Have to imagine Tocc is pretty ticked off at this one.

Poor discipline cost them 100% but wild earned their breaks to get the win.

What the heck were the refs doing on the 5-5 goal? Felt like the puck was under DeSmith then under Cole before finally getting jarred loose for the goal

1st in the league, and we are acting like the wheels are falling off. Just be more disciplined, get better goaltending, defend better, and move on to the next game.

Sometimes, you lay up a stinker. But they still scored 7 goals. This team was nowhere in the last 5 years; there were a lot of kinks to work out before they would be a true contender. It's better to find those spots now than in the playoffs.
They also let in 10.

That’s f***ing unacceptable no matter how shit the refs are.

10-7 LOL well cant say the fans didnt have a good time

Refs with the assist on this one and hate offering excuses for shoddy PKing and goaltending but the opportunities provided were quite frankly disgusting

Wild had almost as many ES shots as goals today. Put that in your pipe and smoke it

Special teams needs to get back to the drawing board and Hughes Hronek are having some issues defensively lately

You just asked for a lot of things lol.

“Just”
Be more disciplined , get better goaltending , defend better etc. anything else?
I think there are some delusions of people who expect the team to be more than a 3rd seed-quality team. The team has shown that they can get good goaltending they can, defend a lead, and be more disciplined. None of these are recurring issues with the team.

The Canucks have now played more games than any other team. The good thing about their schedule is that after about mid March they have a very easy schedule with lots of home games. Hoping they get Soucey and Joshua back and can get some good practice time in to fix some of the issues they have with their special teams.

What?!?

They were comprehensively outplayed 5-on-5 and had the game handed to them on a platter by the refs.

With the Nucks, nothing is ever a coincidence.

It’s why Tocchet typically keeps his mouth shut.
