Yeah, somewhere around midnight -- or was it 11 pm -- I was thinking the same thing. Where's the pushback? We were pathetic in front of our own net, playing like a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off.
It's funny, mid third period I started getting flashbacks to the last playoff series.

All hail the late game where you get to sleep through one of those stinkers. Every team has them.
Mother Mary Almighty and little baby Jesus Murphy I’m glad I bailed.

Bones looked pretty disillusioned lol ugh

Yes indeed. That was a game wherein I tried, but couldn't get through it. Flush it all, scrape of the nitrogenous waste, soap everything in sight down with a good detergent, scrub and rinse with hot water, blast the area with high energy alpha particle radiation, and move on.

Use it as motivation.

Jets will be fine. A hockey season is sprinkled with nasty globs of organic waste and this was a primo example.

Stunk up the joint.

Can we talk about how useless the second line has been the last 10 games. Monohan has cooled right off after a few tip goals and doesn't drive play like a proper 2C. Looking a lot more like the limited specialist he was with Montreal.

Anyways maybe trusting completely in vets isn't always the way to go.

The Canucks and their crowd were sure fired up for this one...

The Jets not so much...

On to the next game...

With reinforcements... a day of rest... and a lesson...

I macmaroon'd...

Fell asleep... slept like a baby...

We handed them one in their building on HNIC and they proceeded to go on a losing streak after than (not connected I'm sure but still). They owed us this one and apparently handed us our sphincter.

Looking forward to the rubber match in Winnipeg.

RB is very unhappy......

"Nobody, not one player played well"
"Worst game in 2 years"
I'd have to agree. I'd love to understand what causes something like this. Did the guys party on Friday night?

Also, have to very reluctantly tip my hat to the Canucks. They came out on fire and didn't let up the entire match

It’s ok. Jets traditionally have played well in Vancouver. Wasn’t our night tonight.

Wish we at least scored one

Sat next to a nice canucks fan in the rink. We had a good chat and he was a nice lad.

That said, generally speaking, I found canucks fans tonight annoying as f***. Also lacking in class. Some ass hats behind us were just pouring their drinks on the concrete got on one of the ladies jackets, drenched in etoh. Zero consideration.

Kraken fans yesterday were (much) nicer and classier. Again, generally speaking. Good and bad everywhere but some canuck doofuses after the game thought they won the friggin cup tonight
Nothing has changed I see. When I lived there and went to a 1.0 game I was wearing my Jets jersey and got beer poured on me. I guess never winning a cup in 70

Colorado in the first round is not gonna be fun
I disagree - it's going to be a lot of fun.

No matter who the Jets match up with (unless we magically get the preds) is going to be a strong opponent with their own unique sets of challenges.

I can't wait to see how this group does in the post season. I'm so excited!!

Helle bad. Josh horrible. We lose bad when those 2 anomaly collide. Luckily they are few and far between.
Gotta admit, I called it a night after the Canucks went up 4-0. But the most charitable interpretation of JMo's play was either a) he was trying to do way too much and got caught out of position or b) he was deathly ill and barely hanging on out there. Neither explanation makes me feel especially good.

On a positive note, resale ticket prices for Monday's game have crashed in case anyone wants to see our new roster additions live, for cheap

I mean that's why we follow the Jets, right?

I will always be optimistic and excited. I can't control the outcome, and I like being happy :)

Yep, thats my modus operandi and approach - very much in the same vein. In my line of work a good result might not happen overnight, in fact it often requires years before a tangible result eventuates and obviously there are parallels to the history of this hockey team. One might add (if one cares ) that I am preconditioned for gradual success, both incremental and significant.

Jets will be fine.
Every team needs a game like that periodically.
Wake up call.
Canucks are good.
Jets need to be at the top of their game to beat them.

Kupari needs to be an extra.
I like Gus centering 4th line. Good hustle.
Keep Perfetti out.
Drop Iafallo to 4th line.
I'm really disappointed about Kupari, I was really hoping he was going to be the surprise gem in the deal.

I still think we won the trade but it's not the spanking we originally thought it was
