It's been tough to cheer for the men's Canadian teams over the past few years, not only due to no NHLers at Olympics, but also these C to D-tier international rosters.

Omg Canada will end up at fourth. I don’t want to win the group anymore.
5-3 Canada-Germany +2 Canada (-1 Canada)
3-1 Denmark-Canada +0 Canada
0-1 Denmark-Germany 0+1 -1 Denmark

So Canada +0, Denmark -1, Germany -1

So Switzerland, Canada, Germany, Denmark

So I believe Canada can lose this game by 2 goals and still be 2nd in the group if they beat France in regulation and Switzerland beat Germany on regulation.

And now its 3-2

Riiight, the annual Canadian "Team suck!" comment, before winning the championship. :D

Wow I'm stupid. I thought "Why are Team Canada pulling their goalie with a 3-2 lead?". I put the game on just after Canada scored.

I don't think that is how it works. If making finals is bad then what about relegated teams ? o_O
I'm all for relegation in the NHL actually. :P

lol terrible performance.

Deserved though.

What I meant was you can only determine how good or bad team is by comparing it to others in the same coemption. :P Does this Canadian team look worse than last years after group stage ?

Nope. We need to win by 3 to make sure it's in our hands. If we win by less than 3 (in regulation), Canada will have to take at least a point against France.

That's pretty much a given I dare say. So you basically just need a regulation win.

Uups!! Denmark wins against Canada what a surprise. Denmark can now even lose against Slovakia in OT and they would reach the quarterfinal.
