Problem with Smith is that one bad goal usually begets another in the same game whereas Rittich doesn't usually let a bad one get to him

Dumb mistakes cost them in this game. Smith one, Brodie+Monahan one each, and Andersson with one. Plus the softy.

Whatever. Can't win em all

Overall a pretty solid game from the Flames. Lost because of individual mistakes, not anything repeatable.

Would have been nice to win this one for Iginla. However, this does hurt the Oilers already slim playoff chances (hahaha). They need to win on Monday though.

Watching the game at my buds place at a family event, his dad strolls in and is like: ‘know the best way to beat Smith? Shoot it right at him or dump it in behind him and let him get you one for free.’

I don’t know why we all found that so funny.

Smith f'd this game. Plus the Bennett miss hurt. Flames could've had this game easily. Losing on Iginla night is really lame..

At least it screws the Oilers.

Can we ride rittich now before he gets too cold? Smith with another puck handling gaffe and a huge five hole goal, so predictable. Come on Bill, you know who your #1 is and he was riding pine tonight.
