They were horrible tonight. Pettersson was bad. I will be probably start worried if we get ~1 month of play like this. The upcoming 4 games are all winnable (with back to back 10am starts - ugh) and should be good preparation against another contender like the Jets.

Remember that the Canucks have done this to other contenders like the Rangers, Stars, Panthers, Hurricanes, etc. Not the end of the world.

I think the most concerning/weirdest thing is 3 SHG in 2 games. More GA then GF for the powerplay is generally not a recipe for success.

Lindholm didn’t deserve the -4 but Blueger was by far the best C for the team tonight.

Loved that they got served a chunk of humble pie, they were way too loose on the PP the last few games. They excelled because they thought they were underdogs, they need to just keep their head down and work. It's long way to go to beat a top 5 team 4 times in 7.

It's been a long time since they were shut out.

Three straight games we’ve let in the first goal and they were all shorthanded. We’ve seen all three of those teams play hyper aggressive on the PK - it seems we’re being prescouted quite well.

Like it’s nothing in the grand scheme but that’s ugly

Comments about the game :

This definitely is a blessing in disguise, it’s wrong to assume we won’t face more adversity in the playoffs.

For the first time in a long time, this team deserves the benefit of the doubt

Did I hear the broadcast crew correctly.....five shorties give up in four games? Pettersson needs to get the 'mercy hook' on the first unit pp....was a -4 tonight, and the goat on both shorthanded tallies.

Just one of those games, where almost nobody was going. It happens. But why does it have to always happen in Boston? Memories of 2011 keep flooding back every time the Canucks suffer a Beantown beatdown.
