Yeah that's my thought. Not a sure thing that a trade is coming just basedon this move, could be "insurance" in case a prospect isn't ready.

the Rangers will have 19 forwards with good NHL chances this training camp. they have more than enough insurance withougt signing Pirri, Don't buy it

I know it's popular to assume AV will play Glass no matter what, but I don't think it's very likely at this point. The writing is on the wall. For all we know, the Rangers will trade Glass now. His cap hit is 1.45 mil, but he only makes 1 mil in actual salary this year.

Why not? The Rangers now have EIGHTEEN forwards who have either played in the NHL or are high profile prospects who are believed ready to play. Clearly something's gotta give. If they deal any of them, it's a logical chain.

Florida would just make it CLASSIC dominoes, as opposed to regular old dominoes.
