God, Vegas couldn't be more lucky. Smith-Pelly loses a skate blade to give Theodore a lane to the net and a passing lane to Nosek for the one-timer.

If the refs are going to huddle to try and give a penalty for something none of them saw ( and yes it was a late hit ) then the league needs to review an obvious guy jumping off the bench to get involved.

Too bad for Washington that on a night when Fleury craps the bead, Holtby stinks up a joint lol.
Which should be just about the easiest call if they are positioned properly. Could see them ignoring it since they couldn't call the hit. The officiating in this league is a mess.

The officiating continues to be a joke these playoffs. It is really sad that this is the standard of the pinnacle of professional hockey.
Reading Washington boards is like an echo of our series: refs bad/favored Vegas, Fleury can be beaten, our worst playoff game so far, we’ll be better next game....

The mental gymnastics Vegas fans are going through to some how explain why Perron shouldn't receive the automatic 10 game suspension for leaving the bench to start an altercation are hilarious. This should be an easy a decision that the DOPS has to make because there shouldn't be any need to make a decision. Watch they will somehow find a way to botch it.
On the bright side, Seattle and Vegas will be in the same division, so the two stacked expansion teams can battle it out before we’d need to play them...

I mean, if it truly is as zero tolerance as they say, how can they do anything BUT suspend? Is there some formal ratio that would say "10 regular season games = N playoff games"?
Will Niku require protection in the Seattle draft? If so that could cause a ton of problems for us. We're already forced to protect Little with his NMC, no?

Didn’t watch the game but sounds like Vegas keeps finding those horseshoes and getting favorable reffing. Saw they were spotted a pp early on again.

Is there a limit to no trade clauses? Because if there isn’t it would be smart to lock up all the key players to them(Laine, Connor, Hellebuyck, Trouba, Morrissey)... Also Little is tradable, he just can’t be dumped the the AHL(he may have a 12 team no trade list though).
Wonder what would happen if you had more NMCs then protection spots for the next expansion draft? Would it force you to keep everyone with an NMC?
No trade clauses are for the player's benefit. The team doesn't need to be protected by a NTC.
The Jets also extended Little's NMC to cover this season. It isn't listed on Cap friendly but it was widely reported at the time of little's signing.

also missed, with the ref staring straight at hime: Reaves crosschecking the defender down so he could be open in front of the net and then scoring. watch the replay. ref is literally looking right at him
Yup. Vegas is getting away with so much junk. I also think Wilson should be booted. What a circus this league is.
