Thanks, so minor differences, got rid of some clutter which is nice. But man. That piping under the arm just kills it for me. Without that, it's a clean jersey.

They see the 3 out of 200 comments on their twitter and facebook that people say, "good job Flames! Really like the new jersey" then feel validated and gloss over the 197 people saying, "go back to retros" "get rid of the flags" "update the look".

I know the social media aspect isn't indicative of the entire fanbase, but you'd assume the more vocal ones (ala the ones commenting on social media) are the people that will buy the stuff day 1 and when 90% of people are dissatisfied, you'd assume they'd listen to them.


Even those dumb 3rd jerseys from a fear years ago; the Flames had a number of focus groups when designing that and we still ended up with a dumb jersey so I don't know what the hell the Flames are doing.

In real life, the difference in materials on the shoulder is glaring. The more I see of these designs the less I like them for the fans, as we only wear them for aesthetic.
