I think Lou will go after one of the “big fish” who are available this deadline in Palmieri or Hall. Both provide a veteran presence and are strong on pucks and win a lot of puck battles. Obviously both have had a down year, but they could easily be rejuvenated by going to a cup contender.

might not be sexy for the fans but he’s very versatile and Trotz really likes him. He’s also dirt cheap. They’ll get two forwards and at least one will be a Trotz guy who can play multiple roles.

if they can land KP and VF, it’ll be a good deadline for them. They just need to stay away from Hall.

But I also feel like he's too much of what they already have. They need more goal scoring centric players.
