Might be old news but just seeing it...

... Has Tony Khan had a meltdown yet over Triple H being voted "Booker of the year"?

in the midnight sea

Virgil has passed away.

He was at a home and garden show a few years back and I talked to him for a few minutes and got a picture with him, he was a nice guy, kind of crazy for sure, but a nice guy and genuinely enjoyed talking to fans, its too bad that the memes have mainly just made him a joke

Considering all the other jobbers and nobodies in the WWE HOF, it is too bad that they didn't put him in there, he was a huge part of getting over the Million Dollar Man gimmick

Summerslam 1992 was one of the only WWF VHS tapes I had growing up. So suffice to say, it got a lot of playback.

Virgil's pre-match promo with Sean Mooney prior to his match with Nailz is an all-time classic. I can almost remember it word-for-word. Too bad there is no Youtube video of it.

He was definitely 2 legit 2 quit. As Virgil said, YOU GOT TO WANT IT MAN! (proceeds to throw a fake jab at Sean Mooney's face)

RIP Mr. Jones.

Virgil was probably one of the strangest human beings I can remember. This sucks.

I was really hoping he'd get on The Iron Sheik level of hilarity on Twitter, but that's no longer the case. Rest Easy, Virgil!

I've talked to him probably no less than a dozen times around Pittsburgh. Car shows, local casino, Little Italy Days, the airport (two times actually, including once where he told me he was flying direct to Miami but was at a terminal for a plane heading to Toronto), the local grocery store, a home and garden show, and probably a few more places that will come to me later. You name a place, and you probably bumped into Virgil there.

Like Unholy Diver said, nice guy but you can tell that elevator didn't quite go to the top floor. Totally harmless but could be a bit aggressive on his polaroid sales pitch.
