For me Palmieri is the guy. G/GP that put him around 31 goals for 82 since 2017-2018. Just turned 29 a few days ago and has a year left on his deal. Right shot RW, which is what this team needs (not another LS RW). Wears the "A" for the Devils, so he's got leadership qualities.

Tired of hearing lucky avoiding Caps and Bolts.Bruins beat the team that beat Bolts and beat the team that beat Caps.

You can be tired of hearing it, but its a fact and it made their way too the cup finals a whole lot easier and when your talking about adding players for a long playoff run for this year , you have to take that into consideration. That they'll more than likely have to go through at least one of those teams if not both.

If the bruins had to face the same foes as a year ago, I'd say they more than likely wouldn't have to add, but the odds of that happening again this year is slim to none, and Sweeney needs to address his line-up accordingly, because even though they have the second best record in the NHL, the playoffs are a whole new season.

Is Palmieri going to push down one of Pasta, Bergeron or Marchand from the first PP unit? If not than to pay a hefty price for a PP specialist only to use him for 35 to 40 seconds on PP is not a smart move.
Palmieri is heavily relying on his shot as the major asset. Scores a buttload of goals on PP, not denying that, however on ES he is not that special.
If I were Sweeney I would call the Devils, ask for Palmieri and settle for Coleman. Coleman has scored the equal number of goals as Palmieri this season. All of his goals were on ES or SH. Also he is a much better 2 way player who is versatile at both wings or at a center.

The Devils might ask for more but it’s worth a try.

No, Palmieri would go on the PP2 w/ Krejci, Coyle, McAvoy and Grz. If we're going to say that Palmieri is nothing special at ES.....

ES Goals Since 2017-2018:
Palmieri - 38
Kreider - 41
Coleman - 42

ES G/GP since 2017-2018:
Palmieri - .21
Kreider - .22
Coleman - .20

EDIT - For fun I put it into a % over the same time. Palmieri had 46% of his goals come via the PP over the above time frame. In comparison over the same time frame Pasta comes in at 42% of his goals coming on the PP. Does this mean that Pasta is a PP Specialist?

What would you guys offer for Reinhart? Buffalo is done, their fanbase is done, Reinhart called out most of their players a while ago.
Could their bad GM make a bad trade, once again?
Was looking at this yesterday.

Think he's going to cost quite a bit as a rental AND needs a new contract. More expensive rental option than Toffoli IMO. Then you have to sign him which they also have Krug and DeBrusk (and Halak).

I opt for Palimeri.

Looking at his number for the last 2.5 seasons, he comps out to someone like Zucker. So whatever it would cost for him + then you'd be looking at something like a 5yr/$5.5 to $6 million, again using Zucker as a comp.

Just because Bruins will put Palmieri on the 2nd PP unit the Devils will not lower the price. That's my point. Of course it would be nice to have a luxury of a prime PP guy if one of our top 3 gets injured.
Also playing with Krejci requires some grit and skill. Bit worried he might be similar to DeBrusk who is norht south type and personally I think works better with Coyle. If Palmieri were a premier player as you have pointed out he would have scored more than mid 50 points.
Overall Coleman is not so flashy as Palmieri with his wrist shots but is more useful player.

Who’s the best RW we can get for Zboril Senny Moore Heinen? Would Ottawa give us a second(they have 3) for Zboril and a 5th? They are ahead of schedule on a rebuild and Zboril can play now.
Zboril, Senyshyn and Moore all have very low value at this point. Teams do not want to trade something of value for our scraps especially when they can easily get better offers from other teams.

Depends how hard you scam their GM
I like Reinhart, but....... I wonder how much of his success is originated from Eichel?

I really like Ristolainen, but the Bruins are set with McAvoy and Carlo on the Right-side. I hear his name a lot, but Im guessing its because of his age/salary and value makes him very trade-able and could bring back a real nice return.

He's a player though, plays tough mean and skilled.

Two deals Palmieri and Kase would be awesome.
