Uh... he's been practicing for 10 days? And the news is from the AP? Isn't anyone from the Rochester D&C covering this team anymore? Or are their sports writers just paid to take pot shots at the Bills on Twitter these days?

Hoping we get a few more televised Amerks games in the 716.
No one from the D&C covers the Amerks. Kevin O was laid off a year ago and their sports department is down to about 3 or 4 people who seem to exclusively cover the Bills. Let’s Go Amerks, which is a fan site, has picked up its coverage this year. He goes to a few practices a week and provides good info. Kevin O covers a game a week usually for the Buffalo Star.

Trying to temper my expectations. Boy, it would be great to have an elite prospect chomping at the bit in Rochester. I’d love to see Alex put up a PPG for a bit in Rochester.

Next shift could have produced a 2v1 chance, but Nylander's saucer to Guhle was off the mark and not controlled. The rest of the first period had one or two more half-chances for the line but nothing noteworthy. Nylander got another blocker-side shot attempt on the power play to start the second, then followed that up with a dangle and backhand attempt:

His legs are moving on a breakaway, unlike every player on the big club right now

Amerks stuck to their trend and were outplayed in the third period, with just 3 SOG including the ENG. Pretty uneventful period for mostly everyone, but Nylander did get rocked late, with Atwal standing up for him. Also, had a shift and crack at the EN, but someone iced the puck the length of the ice and then they lost the draw, which resulted in his minus.

Yeah, but this is game action.
