This is just speculation on my part but I remember seeing an article about Andrei Kostitsyn still watching the Habs & a few other things, I can't remember 100% but he had his contract in the KHL terminated this season, if Montreal could deal RB17, would you take a flier on him for the rest of the season at $1M if he wanted to come back?
He's a UFA now I believe...

Maybe he'd get his **** together if he came back to Montreal this time with a better team & a chance at the cup.

Pacioretty-Desharnais-Gallagher
Galchenyuk-Plekanec-Kostitsyn
Sekac-Eller-Parenteau
Prust-Malhotra-Weise
(Bournival, Moen, Bourque)

Seems like a pretty good lineup on paper if AK46 wanted to come back & actually became consistant.

Also having Kostitsyn play with Plekanec, Galchenyuk could spark him.

Just a thought, if anyone finds the article, can you please post.

pls no

Do not want to add a lazy player who only tries once every few games, that's the losing culture we're trying to get away from.

edit: also IIRC he got cut from his KHL team :help:

I would take Kostitsyn any and every day over Bourque. 1x1mil would be just fine.

Yes please. Akost is still much better than Bourque. And moen. And Weiss. And for that matter, he is better than Gallagher on a first line.
