That is actually the appeal for those questioning the motive. A visible $11 million against the cap for $8 million paid. We're the opposite of most clubs. We need to make money appear instead of disappear re: the cap.

Eddie was definitely the best of our three goalies, and has a fantastic personality.

He also played in front of the Vancouver D (which is quite bad) and carried a nice stat-line. I am sure he will do even better as Carolina moves forward with Hanafin and co.

I really regret us giving him up, and honestly think that if he were signed he woulda had late-first, early-second value.

You guys got Lack for a bargain. This guy is a good starting goalie who is on the younger side compared to the rest of the starters in the league. You'll fall in love with him too, he has a great personality and handles pressure extremely well.
