Was expecting to give up more than this when I saw it announced. For this price it's not bad though.

Hopefully they can replenish this years pick (3rd, 4th whatever) from trading Khudobin.

Pierre Lebrun - "The Ducks will get goalie Anton Khubodin from the Carolina Hurricanes in a trade today.... not clear yet what goes the other way"

Looks like the highest pick we will be able to get is pick #80 from the Ducks. Wonder if we get that or is there gonna be a player or prospect coming our way?

Can't see them giving up Theodore or Ritchie. Could see Kevin Roy + #80 which would be a big win for us, especially if Roy will sign, because he wasn't going to sign in Anaheim.

I wouldn't mind a return of Louis Leblanc or Stefan Noesen, two decent RW prospect in the Anaheim system.

I'd rather move Ward and keep dobby but the chances of finding a taker are slim

Plus we're trying to re-sign him, right?

Ward played better last season, but due to the contract, Khudobin has a higher trade value.

The weird thing to me with Lack is the contract- we wind up in the exact same position with two expiring contracts on our goalies at the end of this year. I figured that whoever we brought in, they'd at least have an additional year.

Canucks website says its for a 3rd and 7th as well. Guessing NHL network just ****ed up.
