His training camp should give him a ton of confidence to start the year in Belleville.
Looking for a big breakout year and we should expect to see him on a callup.
Think I’m worried about in Belleville is who will be his wingers? Crookshank and Boucher?

Forgot sokolov. We will certainly not lack for touches lol. After that first line the depth gets no so bueno

Matthew Highmore is pretty good
Parker Kelly and top prospect Rourke Chartier should also be
Daoust would be a legit prospect if he was ever be able to stay healthy
Reinhardt has progressed, Pilon and Currie have NHL experience
Etc.

Something like that?

Daoust - Jarventie - Sokolov
Crookshank - Chartier - Highmore
Reinhardt - Pilon - Kelly
Imama- Currie - Boucher

Isn't Ostapchuk also an AHLer now? Also Fizer if he's healthy. I don't think they'll send Kelly down.

Crookshank Jarventie Sokolov
Daoust Highmore Currie
Reinhardt Ostapchuk Fizer
Imama Saulnier Boucher

Kleven Mantinpalo
Larsson JBD
Sebrango Williams

Sogaard
Merilainen
Mando

Pretty solid D and goaltending IMO but weak up front. After the first line, it's a mix of ECHL and 4th line AHLers.

He will be in the NHL soon. A good comparison would be a poor man's Rourke Chartier.

A poor man’s Rourke Chartier with better shot, finishing ability, vision, and size.

Crookshank Jarventie Sokolov
Daoust Highmore Currie
Reinhardt Ostapchuk Fizer
Imama Saulnier Boucher

Looks like Belleville might finally have the horses for a run at the playoffs.

Not really. Highmore was near a PPG in the AHL last year, as was Currie when he played in the AHL a couple years ago before he left for the KHL.

You're missing Pilon who would bump down Daoust/Fizer a line or two, plus Smejkal is going to put up big numbers for the (hopefully) limited time he's in Belleville, to be later replaced by Chartier or Greig, who are above-average at the AHL level.

Belleville is in good shape at all positions. Don't even know if there's room for Boucher when everyone is healthy.

Should have probably been sent him to the 67s for his overager year given how much time he's missed with injuries and how little he's scored in the time he has been playing. 4th line minutes beside plugs isn't exactly an ideal situation for development.

Yeah forgot about these 2, forward group could be pretty good and the team could have some success. But at the same time, I have been saying this for years

After the first line, it's a mix of ECHL and 4th line AHLers.
Highmore is far from that, Pilon and Currie are also quite decent at this level. And Reinhardt is also quality for the AHL. Then there’s a few guys with very low experience.

Kinda curious on what kind of offense Ostapchuk is going to put

A poor man’s Rourke Chartier with better shot, finishing ability, vision, and size.

Not sure if it was talked about during the GDTs but Jar-Jar also made some excellent defensive plays during camp, he denied 2 slot chances yesterday

How many games do you predict for Boucher?
