Chicago won again!

Looking good for 31st place finish.

They have a game in hand, but we’re still 3 points ahead and we have the tiebreaker. If we find a way to get another loser point, Chicago then needs to win 3 times in the final 6 games for them to pass us, which seems unlikely

The #2 spot has been cursed, the team in 2 has moved down every year, right? Chitcago finishing 2nd should end that. At minimum, they'll remain at 2 and possibly go to #1. Certain franchises have all the luck and they're one of them.

Out of the bottom 11 teams, 4 have won #1 picks (3 of them have 2 #1 overalls in that time) in the last 20 years and (I think) 6 have never won 1st overall? I hope it's one of the 6 that have never won it before.

Chicago surrenders three unanswered 3rd period goals to lose 4-2 to Carolina, and that makes it official. Ducks will have the third best odds to win the #1 pick at the draft lottery (date TBD, but likely sometime in May)

Though it’s labeled as the tank thread, this may very well turn into the thread where we watch what comes of the Oilers first rounder we got in the Adam Henrique trade
