Everything about that was awful. The decision in the first place to throw across his body. Throwing into triple coverage. It was first down so there was no need to be stupid. And then the throw itself was a total duck.

Yeah, that's a basic concept but despite the throw Love should have known better than hero balling it. The decision to try and go for a chunk play here is worst than the physical throw itself.

Which is ultimately why this bad interception didn’t lose the game. Asking them to go 70+ yards in this weather in a minute against this defense had low low odds even if Love throws it away.

One thing I didn't see live. If he just points Jones up the field as he's scrambling, he had an easy little toss and run to him for like 15 yards. Instead he was fully focused on the home run.
