Extend Judge....would they be willing to spend big on Verlander or Degrom? Or even 1 of Correa, Bogaerts, or Turner?
And thats it. They will do nothing else. They will bring back Cashman and Boone and this shit will repeat again.

Can't do nothing but laugh at this point. Nothing is going to change. Steinbrenners do not give a rats ass.

The thing also, is that, everyone will say "do they get this guy or that guy?" and it doesn't matter. The talent is there. The problem is the Cashman ball approach to hitting.

Trying to hit 460 foot homers on literally every pitch is an organizational mandate.

The Yankees produce line drive rates similar to teams that are tanking. You can't look at this lineup on paper and tell me this is Oakland or Arizona's lineup.

That proves it's a strategy.

The Yankees need another power left handed bat ffs. How is this not noticeable? The Astros pitching is great though. Just smother you. Their pitching in 2018 was basically the same, just ran into the best Red Sox team of all time.

It's also the mindset. Houston is so far into these guys heads it's ridiculous. Even before this year started Cashman was whining again about the sign stealing which is 5 years old now. Judge last year was mockingly pretending he was wearing a buzzer...which was a "theory" concocted by a Yankee youtuber whose entire body of evidence was Altuve wouldn't tear off his jersey off after a homer. The players believe this "it's not our fault" crap.

God forbid they look at the fact they've struck out what seems like 500 times in this series. Or they misplay what should be an easy out in the 2nd which comes home to score on a pop up homer in that joke of a stadium.

Houston's strength has always been pitching, and they've got gobs of it. Guys like Altuve, Alvarez and Tucker have done nothing this series and they're up 3-0. That's insane.

It is pure lunacy that Cashman still has the GM job.

A top 3 payroll every year for 20+ years (and sometimes the #1 payroll by a great margin), and only 1 World Series (in 2009) to show for it?

The Astros dominate in that series (even more so than they did against Seattle), but I find it ridiculous to call the Yankees a bad team. It seems to be extremely difficult to fathom for quite a lot of Yankees fans/bandwagoners, but other teams might have better rosters sometimes.

Whether Cashman and Boone better be retained or fired doesn't bother me. But please let's not take away how good the Astros are by pretending that the Yankees were bad.

The SS over ran 2nd. Exciting game. Between the rain delay, SNF, and the Stros big series lead, I'm not sure how many are watching.
