Sokolov looked really good in this game. He has great poise and composure. He also probably has the highest hockey IQ on the team as he makes very intelligent plays. He might not be that far off from getting called up. He could get NHL games this season.

Ottawa now has almost 5 rookies making a difference in Stutzle, Norris, Zub, Daccord & Batherson who I consider a rookie although he's had too many NHL games to be a rookie, it's his first yr playing as a permanent player. Hopefully we'll have another three by the end of the season. And with Paul, White, Chabot, Tkachuk & even Wolanin sometimes playing well it's looking promising some nights for this rebuild so far anyway.

So .. I think the only thing the Sens can/should do with Brown is be patient. I get Brown thinks he should be up vs down.. but if he sees the other side a bit I think he could get on board with a plan if he can stay healthy.. that seems to be a MAJOR hurdle for both parties.
