You do realize their goalie has played more NHL games than Gudlevskis, right? He's not going to be a sieve, even if the rest of the team is considerably out of their league at this tournament.

Honestly for Austria's last game against Japan I just hope that Lukas Haudum does well. He's part of the future of the program but he's really struggled with the Senior NT (9 games, 1G, 1A) because they've always placed him centering (not his natural position) between the infamous Netrik and Mario Fischer and I don't think even Connor McDavid could score if you slotted him in like right wing with Netrik and Fischer. He's really struggled adjusting to the physical aspect of games, he's had some pretty embarrassing flops, but that's all the more reason he shouldn't be on the PK line. Hopefully he scores a couple against Japan because if you can't get the fans to believe in the present you get them to believe in the future. People never realize in the moment, but your youth players don't suddenly regress heavily just because the senior team is down and especially in large part by a terrible Sporting director. Youth NT has been hurt too Alpo's feelings get hurt way too easily there are some top youth who can't get called up or haven't in the past because they were on his meanie-list.

We have to come out hard against germans, punish them physically if we dont - they will just outplay us with skill. Also we need whoever thats gonna be in the net play like a god.

Germany got as many foreign players as Kazakhstan or Belarus. Three. Latvia already has an excuse if they lose.

Why did you single Latvia out? Everybody seemingly condemns passport handouts for foreigners.

Cause Latvians are the only fans who permanently complain about foreigners playing for another countries. Reread this thread.

he is unwilling to accept the fact that Kahun grew up in Germany and Macek has German parentage. Neither can he accept that Linglet, Platt, Bailen, Lalande, Stepanov (Moscow, to Belarus at 22), and Kovyrshin (near Moscow, to Belarus at 18) does not add up to three.

Jeglič seems to be shaken up after that check by Kostytsin, he made some sloppy plays afterwards. Hopefully he is alright, so far Slovenia is holding up well. I like our chances if we take the lead.
