3rd place means two competitors finished ahead of you which is still the same if it's two golds or one gold and one silver.

OMG my mind is still blown and it still feels like I'm recovering from a massive orgasm!! Those last few turns when the time was showing green I thought the Canadians had done it and won gold. Luckily they still did even if its a tie because I would've been DEVASTATED if they didn't.
