Not a good run for Canada 2, half a second slower than their first run, well back of the leaders now.
That was.... interesting. Rest of his team looked very unhappy as well, but not sure if with him or with their time.Chris Spring was not happy. Wow.

German coaches and engineers are all around the teams though. I don't know why they still have that material advantage. It doesn't get mentioned that often anymore in the German media but it was a big topic in the 90s and early 2000s . It's has to be frustrating for an athlete to start with "inferior" material.I think he was pissed at the track and the equipment advantage the Germans have.
Germany's performance in Sochi was considered a disgrace and shock. Which it was, considering the history it has. There was an article in a German Newspaper after Friedrich won the 2-man Gold that after 2014 Germany failed to win a single medal in bobsleigh that this was deemed completely unacceptable and there was heavy investment with competeting bob building crews and lots of money spend. ( in like millions IRC )
It'll be tough, but not impossible. The Swiss sled had a good time and actually tied Canada for 4th as well.
Exactly. Tough, but not impossible. He's almost 3 tenths back. He'll have to have an excellent run and one of Germany or Korea would have to make a big mistake.

... which wouldn't be impossible. I fail to see where your disagreement is.A top sled losing 3 tenths in a single run is basically impossible barring something disastrous like the sled flipping over.
