Should be an apple for Ikonen on a good 4 on 4 shift. Couldn't bury his own chance but made a good play to keep the play alive.

Just got done watching Hawkey, had an impressive game as BC was up 1-0 till about half way through the game. The one goal he gave up he didn't control the rebound and the defensemen lost his man so he had a tap in. Made some big saves so hopefully that gives him some confidence to build on. Nice win for Providence.

I sure do hope that they keep Tex and Ikonen together. They were great. Ikonen finished with 5 shots, all of them clean looks on net, and he set up at least that many.

Even though Jukurit are garbage, it's nice to see what Ikonen can do when his entire team isn't getting buried alive.

It took Vejdemo 14 games to reach his point totals from last season. (48 games) Should be interesting to see how the year goes for him and if he can get even better next and then they will need to make a decision on him.

Going to watch the game later on but Hawkey with the SO against another big conference rival in BU. Hope this means he's back on track as he's let in 1 goal this weekend vs 13 in his previous 3 games.

Tyska with 8 pts in 11 games, looks to have some offensive upside.

Pezzetta in 40 less games then last year has 3 less goals and 5 less pts. Going to be interesting to see how the year goes for him, if they end up signing him or not.

Bitten with pts in only 1 of the last 4 games but still leads the team in assists, tied for team lead in pts and has double the next highest player.

- Currently playing is Tyszka. Seattle is down 2-1 after 1 period. Tyszka has an assist on the only Seattle goal right now.

- Pezzeta with no points in Sudbury's 4-1 loss to Erie.

EDIT: Never mind I just found the article mentioning it would be about 3 months from the time he was operated on which was September 22nd..

I've posted this before, but those around Notre Dame think he's a Kyle Turris type of player. Likely not on that level, but that would be a best case scenario.
