Okposo is a free agent no?

I just checked, and yes, you are correct. Sorry, sometimes I don't often track the contractual status of U.S. players as diligently as I do for Canadian players.

I'll try and come up with a replacement. :)

Foligno, Dubinsky and Pacioretty would be the other question marks. Those guys always seem to have a naggin injury.

at this point Kyle Connor needs to be invited to this team - doesn't get invited to the WJC but gets invited to play with the big boys...too damn funny

Oh dear...

That roster makes the 2015 WC team look somewhat decent by comparison.

This is the type of post that should get deleted.

Forums are about dialogue, not high-brow garbage like this.

Pominville is a good player; explain yourself?

Yeah it shouldn't get deleted...Pominville WAS a good player. He's terrible now and shouldn't be considered for any national teams.

spot on as it gets.

Pominville... too funny, a dual citizen who was a dud for both countries. not much of a loss for either side, he was never that great of a player to begin with...Although in his best years, there weren't many, but in his best years he probably could have been of some use at the annual IIHF springtime tournament. I believe he did play 1 tournament for the U.S. and good for him...

He's good enough that in most years he'd make the worlds team rosters. But he didn't care
