Scherbak going to have a rough year under Lefebvre if he takes penalties like that.

Is Bud really 6'1? He seems like the smallest guy on his line and Ghetto/Hudon are not big guys.

Well another nail bitter. Wouldn't think that after scoring the first 3 goals.
Happy to see they played better in the 3rd and gutted out the victory. For a young team these type of games are real good reminders for them not to take there foot off the gas peddle.

The 3 stars
1. STJ - 31 Zachary Fucale
2. BNG - 12 Eric O'Dell
3. STJ - 27 Sven Andrighetto

Fucale gives up the worst rebounds.

Binghamton's goon line are -2. McCormick is -3. That's how you deal with "tough guys".

Thou Stortini did rattle Maccaron early. as much as goons as u call them, a term i hate. Their effective ina rough league unlike NHL where toughness is not needed

What happened with McCarron/Stortini?

Fucale boosting his trade value could do wonders in becoming trade bait at deadline for a top 6 W.

LOL... goalies don't have anywhere close the value you think. Maybe you could get a top 6 W for Condon at the end of the season if he proves himself as reliable the whole season but Fucale? You're not getting an NHL player for an unproven NHL goalie.

I doubt they will trade Fucale. Remember reason they drafted him was his Patrick Roy type demeanor in 0-3 comeback against Remparts a few years back. When Timmins entered dressing room he said first thing he noticed

Goalies have very little value when they are as young and unproven as Fucale, even if he does end up having a spectacular season. It would make more sense for the organization NOT to trade him, because his development is in its early stages, making his value quite low. He's more valuable to the organization as a part of it as opposed to whatever he would garner in a trade.

Meh. I think Fucale has moderate trade value. Goalies increase in value the more proven they become. If he shows he is a dominant goaltender in the AHL this season, his value becomes quite high when his pedigree is also considered.

For the time being, I am glad he is playing well because goalie depth will be huge to the Canadiens barring injury to Saint Price.

I'm trying to make sense of the complete team rosters for both St. John's and Brampton. The St. John's site lists way too many players and the Brampton site doesn't even list enough to ice a full team? :help:

Its pretty straight forward to St. John's as some of you are kind enough to post lineups but its a crap shoot from there. Who's injured? Who's scratched? Who's sent down?

Living near Brampton, I had hoped to take my nephews to a game and hopefully see a couple prospects. I'll care much less about this if there aren't any, obviously.

Are St. John's actually carrying 16F & 9D? According to the site they are. Is there a max head count for the AHL/ECHL?

Also, how does it work beyond ECHL? What league do those guys spill into when there's no room?

That's all the noob questions I have for today - thank you :)

Some people can be so delusional. Come on get real.

It is possible to trade more that one player in a deal. ;)

Not really addressing what I said though! Whether or not he's in a package deal, he wouldn't provide much added value and therefore it wouldn't be worthwhile to trade a prospect like him at this stage of his career.

They have 13 F, 7 D ,2 G healthy. Expect 2-3 F, 1-2 D to be sent down when everyone is healthy.

AFAIK, AHL has no limit roster, but they have a veteran limit in the 20-man roster. I believe it is the same in the ECHL.

I'd guess some people will be called up to Montreal by mid-season due to injury/whatever as well. Neilson's the first to go down though, followed by Eisenschmidt and Crisp. I'd guess Didier goes down as soon as he heals as well.
