As for Serena Ryder, Id describe her as a no talent version of Amy Winehouse. 'Stomp your hands, stomp your feet' that's some riveting song writing Serena. I love CBC 2 but god they push some mediocrity at times.

Who went to Bon Jovi last night? Fantastic show!! First time seeing the rock legends and it was everything I thought it would be. Man can that guy perform, still going strong after 30 years.

I think Bruno Mars will be playing Bluesfest. He announced his tour the other day and has dates in Toronto and Montreal on July 3 and 5, respectively. Then he has five days between shows. I'm not a fan, but I'm sure there are fans of his on this site.

This would be amazing allthough their manager was quoted as saying the London show would be the only one of the year in Canada, can't find it at the moment...If bluesfest brought in PJ or a band of that ilk my faith would be re-stored!

The 2005 3.5 hour show in Ottawa is the greatest concert i have ever been to in my life

Some great acts for Jazzfest this year. Aretha Franklin is a can't-miss show.

David Byrne + St-Vincent is such a weird combo. I saw them perform at Jon Stewart once, and I wasn't really convinced.

Basically it looks like Jazzfest is the real Bluesfest, while Bluesfest is really Rockfest.

That was awesome in 2005. I've seen them 6 times and it never gets old.
