Watch out for Kessel, there is a possibility that he may suit up for the Bruins this upcoming season.

EDIT: If he does make the Bs then I think his impact will be about the same as Zach Parise's on NJ this past year.

No they can be 18 or 19 and play in the AHL. That rule is only in play for CHL players. Smid (Can't think of his 1st name) of the Ducks played for the Portland Pirates last year at 18. Niklas Bergfors played in Albany at 18 or 19 last year. I know those two examples are Europeans but can apply to NCAA players to.expofan said:Do NCAA players need to be 20 to play in the AHL? I ask because speculation in the Twin City papers is that he has played his last game for the Gophers. Not sure what his options would be if he didn't play in the NHL this season.

It'll be a battle between Malkin and Brule.
Brule will most likely be playing on a line with Rick Nash and David Vyborny. That will def. help his point production. I don't know much about the Penguins but Nash and Vybes sounds pretty good so I give the edge to him there.
