Anyone familiar with diagnosing Dryer issues? Dryer's been running very hot the last few weeks, I clean the trap every run, and attempted to clear the vent itself but got stuck about 2 feet into an 8 foot dryer vent run. Ran a load last night and just noticed around 14 hours ago and just noticed the back of the dryer itself is still warm and has that smell as if it just finished drying but the clothes are all cool to the touch.

Went to run another load and the dryer wont turn on.

Moved the dryer out to unplug it and clear the charge and noticed a glowing orange at the bottom back of the dryer still. Left it unplugged but am concerned of a fire risk.

That shouldn’t be happening. It kind of sounds like your glow plug is staying lit. That should only stay orange long enough to ignite the gas. Without diagnosing it first hand it seems like the board might be bad.
Since you didn’t mention any smoke I’ll assume a small bundle of socks that have squeezed into an area they shouldn’t be able to get to didn’t combust and rule that out as the glow.

BMW's are very precisely engineered and can be very finicky for maintenance. My old college roommate designs engines for a living now, and he learned how to do that on his BMW. He bought a used one...then he bought another used one, so he could strip that for parts to keep the main one running.

So I'd advise to make sure that model isn't gonna end up being too much work. Or perhaps that's a feature for you as you learn

Tbf I think there are probably 3 different ways in the UK!

Albeit, yeh, Kings English is "hurbs" in effect.

Standard english: Hurbs
Too posh for their own good: He(r)bs (with aspirated r.)
Most inner cities, especially in the North: 'ehrrrbz

Albeit none of the 3 sound like parts of America with the comical 'urb... aha.

I bought the kids reusable water balloons. These things are f***ing sweet. Take half a second to fill and they self seal water tight via magnets(make sure to get the ones with the rubber sealing the magnets do they don’t rust or come out).
