I'm shocked that he's only got 17 goals, it feels like he's on the highlight reel every other day. I'd have guessed he was closer to 30 at this point.
…Torts?Still hate those goals and think they should be disallowed. Player shouldn't be able to carry the puck on his stick, in his hand or anywhere.
The most impressive part of this wasn't the lacrosse goal itself, it was the pure skill displayed on a combination of two scoring chances... the between the legs shot into the lacrosse goal. Skill plays come so naturally and instinctively due to his extremely high confidence in his skills.
He feathered it onto the tip of his blade instantaneouslyIt's the way he picked up the puck in one touch behind the net without interrupting his skating that blows my mind. It's what makes this a goal. He got around to the net before most guys figured out he had the puck.
agree. This is one of the best goals I've ever seen.Wow man wow. Beyond astonishing that whole sequence.
This is Mike Legg erasure and I simply won't stand for it.Svech was the first to ever do it in the NHL and did it twice before this kid was in the league. Anyone calling it the “zegras” is a fool
Didn’t think it merited another thread so will just bump this one, but another great goal from Zegras last night…

Torts' worst nightmare... even 7 year olds are doing it in games now!
Someone should teach that kid a lesson, shouldn't be skilling it up on other 7 year olds like that!
He's already wondering why nobody has taken the kid's head off yet!Torts would punch a kid if he had to. Don't make him have to.
