You're right. That must be what caused the concussion...the grazing of the jersey. It wasn't when the shoulder made solid contact to the head, causing it to violently snap back. It was the tiny little brush of the shoulder that knocked him out of the game. Now I understand.

LOL. Spoken like someone who's never hit or been hit.

I'm sure he did get a concussion when his head hit Trouba's shoulder from the whiplash, but the rule is point of contact. Trouba is going into him, not alongside him. That ain't the graze of a jersey. That's cleanly lighting somebody up.

Looking at the last few years draft.... a 1st + 3rd can move up about 2 or 3 spots for the better 1st. A 1st + 2nd can go 5 to 8 spots ahead for the better 1st. So 27th plus a 3rd would be around 25OA or so. 27th plus a 2nd (45OA) could be around 21OA which is a nice spot to land.

3OA, ~21OA, 32OA, 34OA, 36OA, 43OA, 66OA, 130OA, 162OA. Throw in a few cap dumps, JC, and maybe a man in the middle deal and we could add a few more.

I dont like the fact that the Leugue looks at most questionable hits looking for a reason to suspend but look at Trouba hits looking for a reason not to suspend. He hits vulnerable players regularly as we are told the League wants rid of those hits.
