Great.. This smells like Zadorov + Bruins = Contract and we pay far too much for him. He has the elements we miss, but he’s not the real top 4 defender we would need. Mainly option D or E.

Ekholm is really the only name you would be happy to pay for. And hardly Nashville wants to give up on him..

If he were 100% healthy, yes, but not at the moment, who knows when he will play again.

This is what drives me crazy about the lust to acquire Eichel. Nobody knows how badly his neck is damaged or whether any surgery would restore him so he could continue to play at an elite level. It is insane to take on his contract without being certain he can earn it with his play. Not to mention what it would cost to get him here.
