Bringing back Jacques Martin out of nowhere is almost like us randomly bringing out Larry Robinson to coach for us the rest of the year. Imagine bringing in Larry Robinson and Elias (he’d be our Alfredsson) to coach out the rest of the year? I’m sure some would love it because Larry Robinson won a cup as head coach closer to 25 years ago than anything, but it would be a joke.

They shouldn’t have even come into this season with DJ Smith and Dorion (but they did), but they can’t do better than an organizational retread from 20+ years ago?

Thats why I say be careful what you wish for in firing Ruff. Because we’re only gonna get Travis Green (most likely him) or Kevin Dineen or maybe even some rando retread that we didn’t even know was still alive, that coached here 20+ years ago.

Larry might be an upgrade over Lindy lol...tbh though Lindy'd be more likely to last the year based on Larry having stress issues every time he goes behind the bench.
