The "big" ones that I only have partial control over:
- Attend a gold medal Olympic game where Canada wins (preferably in 2018 with much of the same core as the 2014 team)
- Attend a SCF game where the Hawks (captained by Toews) win the Cup
- Attend a SCF game where the Pens (captained by Crosby) win the Cup
- Attend a SCF game where the Leafs win the Cup, or just see the Leafs win the Cup period, no matter whether I'm actually at the game or not, and on a related note, attend a SC parade in Toronto

The ones I have control over:
- Attend a Leafs/Habs game in Toronto
- Attend a Habs/Bruins game in Montreal
- Attend a Hawks/Blues game in Chicago
- Attend a Pens/Flyers game in Pittsburgh
All of these would preferably be playoff games, but I'll take regular season games too.

Besides good things we all hope for regarding our favorite teams, i'd love to make a trip to Montreal to see a game.

Caught a game in Toronto about 8 years ago and loved it. So i'd love to seea Leafs/Habs or Bruins/Habs game in Montreal. Late season/playoffs would be ideal, but i'm not rich...yet

I too want to see a live hockey game in Nashville. They play pretty good love music there so I can dig it.

EDIT: *live. :rolly:

I've already seen my team win the cup so what I would love to see is the United States win gold at the Olympics.

To watch the Panthers win the Stanley Cup in Game 7 at the BB&T Center in front of 4,000 rabid hockey fans and 15,000 people who thought they were going to the mall.

Already got to cross number one off the list. Jeff Carter got a hat trick on hat night. It was madness.

Seeing an NHL game in Canada would be cool.

Seeing a playoff game in SJ would also be on there.

Obviously want to see the Sharks win the Cup, but would love to see them win for the first time at home. This is way down the line after retirement lol, but I'd like to follow the team and attend all 82 games and playoff games one year. I've never looked into the logistics or estimated the overall cost, but I'm sure it would take a lot of planning and a lot of saving haha.

Oh yeah, seeing a goalie fight in person would be sweet.

Mine is:

  • Attending a Stanley Cup Finals game anywhere!
  • Attending a game at the Shark Tank in San Jose.
  • Meeting Gretzky and having him answer a question of mine.

Indulge me as I humblebrag:

Got to go to Games 4/6 of the 2003 Finals. I would have tried to get Kings/Devils tickets in 2012, but the LA games were all on weekdays and driving up to LA is just a pain from San Diego.

I've seen a couple games at the Shark Tank. Got on TV once as the token Devils fan.

I was in Vegas with friends in 2007. Gretzky was hanging out in the Wynn sportsbook watching Pittsburgh in the opening round of the playoffs. Eventually we worked up the nerve to talk to him and he was incredibly friendly. I did my spiel about how I was one of those Southern California kids who he converted into hockey fans. Then he gave playfully gave me crap for wearing a Devils shirt. I do regret not offering to buy him and his friends a round of drinks.

----------------

Definitely would suggest watching a game at the University of Michigan. Atmosphere was fantastic and the facility is open for a public skate. Kinda fun to watch a game on TV and know that I did a few laps on the ice.

I want to attend every game, live and in person in the same year, the following:

1. The World Junior Championships
2. The NCAA Frozen Four
3. The Memorial Cup
4. The USHL Clark Cup
5. The Stanley Cup final series
6. The NHL draft

I'd say this would be a pretty good year of hockey.

Didn't Gretzky call the Devils a Mickey Mouse Organization in the 80s? I think he apologized but yeah.

Crossed the Stanley Cup thing already, so maybe a Duck Dynasty, with a Back-to-Back title seasons. Three peat seems too much in these days where contenders seem to come and go.

Sabres win the cup...

I'd like to say I'd riot and flip cars and have a great drunken time but I'd hate to give Reverend Sharpton anymore ammunition nowadays.

but in all seriousness...

-Talk to Messier and Graves about 94
-Meet Fedorov
-See a SC game in Buffalo
-Stay in Buffalo after winning said game
-Meet jeff beukeboom
-Skate with some NHlers other than local guys that I have like Bonsignore/Gionta etc

I dont know, Im sure the list could be endless. Though I will say thanks to poor security at the War Memorial back in the day I have already physically held the stanley cup so...check.

your first 2 pictures were humble bragging, however if anyone ever met the Great One and has the pictures to prove it that is not bragging

The Good

The Third Bit
-NYR vs. NYI in the cup final... not this year...
-Someone to break the Rangers' record for longest cup drought.
-YET ANOTHER NHL team in the NYC area. (Rebirth of NY Americans?)

1- pretty much impossible since they are in the same conference and I doubt the NHL is going to put them in a different conference in the next 100 years

2- Leafs are only 8 years away

3- Isles are filling where the NY Americans intended to move with the move to Brooklyn, no chance of another NYC area team

See an NHL game.

And after that, break the record for visiting all 30 NHL arenas whilst watching a full game at each in the shortest amount of time. Current record stands at 29 days.
