To begin with, I am of the majority opinion that Eakins is employing a less than stellar coaching strategy in the following areas; line combinations, TOI management, and general competence.
However, is there an argument to be made for coaching tenure in terms of its effect on accountability by the players and sequential 'growth' on the W/L column?
You don't have much to play for when you know Dallas is falling on the sword upstairs after the game.
