What a way to finish... with two errors. :shakehead

Sorry. Typo in formula for Cret-Bezile for overal rel Corsi.
IT is actually -1, not -38.

All others are correct.

NOW it should be right.

Really helpful stuff, as usual :handclap:

Are you still going to cheer for the Jets at all? :naughty:

Is Ben Hawerchuk Dale's son? BTW, love the Spacek-Harkins combo. Poolman looking good. Niku is the best though.

Dale's son, they share a last name but when it comes to hockey not much else in common. :help:

So the Jets "40 year old rookie" looked good!:handclap:

Thanks for adding to the discussion. Today this really matched my eye test.

No surprise Green's stunk the first game he played with Stanley who was a tire fire that game. I'm curious to know what his corsi was in game 2.

Can't read anything into his game 3 numbers as he only played just over half a period.

I've lost my enthusiasm over Green since he was drafted. His game hasn't matured at all.

I wish I could go back to a few minutes after we drafted Laine, and convinced Chevy to either hold onto the #22 spot, or trade further up to get Jakob Chychrun.

I've lost my enthusiasm over Green since he was drafted. His game hasn't matured at all.

It seems that we hit a home run every odd year drafting (2013,15, and probably 17), and aside from a key piece of the puzzle, draft poorly in the later rounds in even years (2012,14, and 16).

Odd Years:

Scheifele
Lowry
Morrissey
Poolman
Comrie
Petan
Copp
Connor
Roslovic
Niku
Harkins
Spacek
Vesalainen
Samberg
Kovacevic
Virtanen
Gawanke

Even Years

Trouba
Hellebuyck
Ehlers

I don't know if I agree with that. I thought he looked a fair amount better this year than last.

But yeah his play in his own end definitely still needs a lot of polish.

Munz just said on 1290 that Stanley had a good tournament and things are good for Logan Stanley

I missed the second and most of the third last game, but I thought he looked better than the first two games. I don't have high hopes for Stanley, but I find it hard to imagine that he'll be as bad as some here suggest

Stanley was our worst dmen.... not trying to pile on the kid but he was just ok by the end of the tournament but was light years behind Niku and Poolman and was even outplayed by Green who was drafted 2 rounds after him.

I was only commenting about this tournament. I didn't see game 2 but watched game 1 and saw game 3 in person. He did not have a good tournament IMO. The stats posted here confirm the eye test.

It was an overly rosy description of him. Is Munz an idiot? Or is he lying on purpose?

why would you give a dishonest accounting?

you can be critical w/o being cruel

Agreed, I don't see how saying his play as a whole was underwhelming is trashing him.

I also don't see how a rose coloured glasses assessment helps Stanley or the organization.

The truth of the matter is Stanley has an awful lot of elements in his game that are weak right now and he will need to improve on all of them significantly to make the show.

I'm not a big Munzie fan.....but the Stanley "piling on" is stupid. Why don't we tear apart Kosmachuk or Sutter? JK. Not sure what everybody expects from a 18th oa from a draft where the blue chippers were long gone. The kid is a LONG term project, might be nothing, might be something.
